Interaction / UX Designer for Conversational AI (m/f/d)

VUI.agency is Europe's largest design agency for language assistants and conversational design for top brands. We design, create, and improve conversational user interfaces with a multimodal design mindset. Our focus is on customer-specific Assistant solutions as well as applications for platforms such as Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. We partner with large companies from a wide variety of industries, including automotive, entertainment, media, finance, to deliver the best user experience through conversational design.

We want to move away from technical-looking voice input towards natural language and intuitive interaction. This is where we see the future of voice design. Because the human-machine interface not only needs technological implementation power, but must also attach just as much importance to development in linguistic design. In this sense, as Europe's largest design agency for voice assistants, we accompany large companies from the most diverse industries into the world of conversation design.

As a VUI you will

/ Create comprehensive and conversational multimodal voice experiences.

/ Design and implementation of custom voice assistants or voice apps for Google Assistant and Amazon, independently and in a team.

/ Definition of general interaction specifications and system behaviour for different touch points of voice assistants.

/ Design of conversation flows for different touch points.

/ Coordination of the concept with technical requirements and restrictions.

/ Collecting and presenting in-depth insights and voice trends to stakeholders.

/ Conducting user research, studies and usability testing.

What you bring

/ You combine your affinity for language with your interest in interaction or UX design and enjoy designing multimodal user experiences (voice + visual).

/ You want to gain more experience in working with client stakeholders at all levels of the hierarchy.

/ You have the desire to expand and apply your basic understanding of AI technologies and machine learning concepts.

/ You are curious and interested in continuously educating yourself on the latest technology.

/ You have excellent German and English skills and can talk shop with colleagues in both languages as well as explain projects and ideas to our customers in such a way that we can inspire them across the board.
